The short answer is NO. Let me explain why people who have been transgender people are gay. First, it must be known that everyone has their likes and dislikes in the field of sexuality and emotional companionship. Many “straight” people are not as easy as they say they are, but not necessarily their gay or bisexual. Just because society likes to label people straight, gay or bisexual does not mean that everyone fits into those categories. Dating in the transsexual world these terms are not always match the reality.
Additonally, transgenderism has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
Many people will look for friendship and love shemales because they feel that transsexuals are more feminine than genetic women. Yes, this is right …. more feminine! In addition, people find that genetic women have a lot of hangups in the bedroom department that they feel are not transsexuals. While that may be true to some extent, not hard and fast rule to live by it. Transsexuals who were born in the male body, but he had a woman’s brain chemistry and are really a woman is in the human body, until they go to the woman’s appearance. However, it must be known that no one should be judged solely on their appearance, as are many complex factors which impede the process to go through, most of which comes from the society and financial barriers.
Everyone has the right to date whomever they wish, without judgment, however, is not only where the society or the reality is these days, so I can not overstate the importance of living your life in a way that makes you happy, not worrying about what your friends are or neighbors will think.
While some men who have been transgender people can be bi, those people who are gay would not be the least interested in dating someone who is not really a man, but a transsexual who embodies everything that is beautiful in a woman.
It is also important to stress that not all transsexual male to female play an active role in sex with their male genitalia. In fact, many transsexuals do plan to have complete SRS (sexual reassignment surgery) at some point in their lives. Men should not approach transsexuals with the expectation that they will always have another penis in the relationship. Transsexuality is not a sexual fetish, but dismorphic gendor disorder that comes from before birth. That does not mean that being transgender is “bad” thing or a mental illness is simply a fact that has not yet been fully accepted by most civilized countries.
In closing I congratulate those people who are not afraid to say that they prefer to date transsexuals and do not worry about what society thinks. But please remember that the greatest sacrifice by those who are transgender and have to cope with the continuous abuse of that society and ignorant people prey on them.
